i think apple is going to be on the top at least on subjects regarding the iPhone. The thing is, at least for me, people don't buy an OS, is most likely you don't get to choose the OS, you choose a phone. iPhone is quite the best piece of technology that i;ve ever had. The gestures, the speed, it's simplicity.. those are the characteristics that everybody is looking for. What i really dislike about iPhone is apple store, it has too much control over iphone and users, but that is a pattern. Consumers will be always set to the will of Companies. We have experienced this battle before (not making reference to the articule) Linux vs Microsoft, Mac vs PC, IE vs Firefox, more recently Google vs Bing, when a company dominates the market we start to hate that company. it is always the same, we want more and when we get it, we want something else, it's fine we are humans but we shouldn't turn around so easily. but that's just me, i'm still getting an iphone!
