Kilimanjaro hasn't been receiving enough snowfall to maintain its snow cap for decades now. There's no known connection to human action in this, I don't think one is even suspected.
Marijuana spurs business in oakland because oakland is full of poor people who have nothing better to do than get stoned. This is why they have no jobs and wait for handouts...you know...democrats.

“Nokia is a commodity phone maker. The average price of their phones is less than the average price of all phones sold globally. Mass producing cheap phones is what they're good at, so it makes perfect sense for them to try to get into mass producing cheap netbooks (although their offering isn't exactly cheap at the moment).

creating virtual monopolies, running local business out, and forcing their employees to work JUST UNDER the 40 hour bracket to avoid benefits– it's a ***** work ethic. And if you can't afford a better store then YES, you ARE being forced to shop HELL MART?
I would not want to be a window washer in Dubai. |

However I can say that I do notice a difference when I use XP and Chrome versus Linux and Chrome on the same laptop. Linux and Chrome is a bit faster, mainly with opening up the first process. I get to a usable window faster.

Wow, what a horribly carried out study. They only looked at 29 people, and only 7 out of them had this gene, and they're drawing conclusions on the whole population based on this? Not only that but studying them in a simulation on a race track? How someone drives on a race track when they are completely focused on driving has nothing to do with how they drive on the road. Most bad driving is a result of not paying attention, you really think anyone in there wasn't paying full attention? On top of that, bad driving is 100% subjective, there's no definitive bad driver, especially when you're talking about "how far they deviated from the center" on a race track, as you aren't even supposed to be in the center half the time. I could see the short term memory loss thing being related to the gene, but what does that have to do with driving well? |
