No, actually they got a ***** of sales from cash for clunkers. In fact they did better than Toyota. The top 10 list released by the DOT is flawed (or some would say conveniently devised to skew the results a certain way). It didn't properly count all vehicles of a given model together. Instead, it split them up by model+engine+drivetrain. If car A sold 10000 units and all were in the same configuration, while car B sold 15000 units, but they were split between 3 different configurations (ex: a 4 cyl, a 6 cyl, and an 8 cyl) with each configuration selling 5000 units, then according to the DOT list, car A had the highest sales.I haven't seen the analysis of the final numbers, but as of August, Edmunds released a list showing Ford having 4 of the top 10 (1st, 2nd, 5th, and 10th), while toyota only had 9th place.http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/edmunds-dots-cash ...

This isn't just a Obama and Bush thing, this is our political system problem. Any branch of the government could be helping the people hold the government officials accountable, but none of them want to be held accountable, so they are going to help each other evade such situations.?

Radioshack just LOVES taking advantage of people who aren't tech-savvy in the slightest. Eventually, I hope everyone will start catching up when they realize how necessary it is, and places like RadioShack will go out of business.
